This wine is a blend of the selected wines come from the Baraldo Block of the La Giareta estate in the Berici Hills at 250 meters elevation.
Production Area: Veneto, Vicenza, Berici Hills
Grapes: 50% Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc (dried)
Vinification: Stainless steel tanks at 26 °C per 15 days with a daily pump-over and delestage during it and even 7 days post-maceration.
Maturation: 20 months in oak; separate malolactic fermentation in new 225 liters french oak barrels blended and then aged 11 months in
the same barrels. After 9 months in 4000 liters moldavian oak casks and then in bottle for 12 months.
Winemaker's Notes: Youthful intense deep ruby color, complex aromas of red berries, vanilla, liquirice and tobacco notes. Rich, ripe
concentrated fruit with full body and smooth tannins sensation with a very well integrated acidic length.
